			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Popular art, aka Pop art, is a new wave of art exploding across the world. Pop art originated in England in the 1950&#8242;s and evolved into a different way in the United States around the 1960&#8242;s. Pop art expressed popular culture of the current time. In the United States, Pop Art was a movement that reflected the direct relationship between the use of imagery and the adoption of modern procedures. Every artist that had a place in this movement established their own style and created their own identity. Some early artists were <a href="http://www.lichtensteinfoundation.org/">Roy Lichenstein</a>, and <a href="http://www.warhol.org/">Andy Warhol</a>.  The image below has some similarities to Robert Indiana&#8217;s design, L.O.V.E.</p>
