Pop art originated in England in the 1950′s and evolved into a different way in the United States around the 1960′s. Pop art expressed popular culture of the current time. In the United States, Pop Art was a movement that reflected the direct relationship between the use of imagery and the adoption of modern procedures. Every artist that had a place in this movement established their own style and created their own identity. Some early artists were Roy Lichenstein, and Andy Warhol.  The image below has some similarities to Robert Indiana’s design, L.O.V.E.
