This piece of art is amazing, even if it wasn’t done on a canvas or collage. The way he used such limited tools to duplicate this masterpiece still amazes me. My friend showed me this video and before I saw it for myself, I thought it was a joke, but this sure is real. The guy who did this has my respect because he had to have put in hours upon hours of practice before he performed the way he did. I like this digital Mona Lisa a lot but I really love the old Mona Lisa.

I was online looking for cool art websites, when I stumbled upon something I thought was really cool. It was an online digital art pad where you could create your own unique painting with the click of a mouse. Then, once you finish your painting, you can watch what it looked like while you were in the process of making it. If you’re really into art, you should definitely check this out.

Guido Daniele lives Italy. He was born in Soverato and with artistic ability. He specializes in two things; body painting and trompe l’oeil. Trompe l’oeil is the art of painting on a two dimensional painting realistically and creating an optical illusion. Daniele is exceptional at this. The way he can create such vivid images on a average wall is insane. When Daniele does his body painting, he amazes everyone. The way he uses the texture of someones hand to influence the painting is outstanding.

Sidewalk Chalk Art

Julian Beever is known for many things. He is most renown for his work on sidewalks. Since 2004, there has been a chain message that has been circulating the internet. The way he draws is known as anamorphosis. Anamorphosis is a drawing presenting a distorted image that appears in natural form under certain conditions. Basically it is a optical illusion depending on the angle you look at it. Outside of his sidewalk art career, he also paints murals and replicas of other artist’s art. Julian also does a lot of advertising for big businesses and objects such as Spiderman and Coca Cola.

Abstract art is art that is not supposed to take shape of a recognizable figure, but instead uses colors and shapes in a different way. Abstract art is not a new thing of this century, it has been around for centuries. Calligraphy is an example of abstract, and non-figurative art. The Islamic religion, the showing of humans in art is not allowed. Some American artists who design with this method are Barnett Newman, Hans Hofmann, and Mark Tobey.

Mark Tobey is an abstract expressionist. Tobey specializes in his calligraphy. Mark was one of the first people to do “white writing” paintings. Tobey did a variety of these paintings and one example is below. The way Tobey can be so “out there” yet make sense amazes me.
