Milk and Coffee Photograph
The photograph above, found on dpchallenge.com, is of coffee, with a drop of milk landing on it’s surface. Photography is a form of art and there are many different styles and techniques. This photo is really cool because it isn’t something I would ever think to capture as a photograph. I think it’s awesome how this photographer was able to find the beauty in something so unusual and random. This picture is a form of modern art. I really like the way the milk to form when it splashed against the surface of the coffee. I think picture is beautiful and amazing all around.

Statue of Liberty- Pop Art
The painting above by Nikolai Bird, is of the Statue of Liberty. The statue stands, over 150 feet tall, on Liberty Island in the New York Harbour. The statue was designed by a man named Frédéric Bartholdi, as a gift to the United States. It was presented to the US in 1886.
I really like the way the blue contrasts with the statue. The two colors work well with each other and keep the painting simple, yet beautiful.

Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci – On Microsoft Paint!
This piece of art is amazing, even if it wasn’t done on a canvas or collage. The way he used such limited tools to duplicate this masterpiece still amazes me. My friend showed me this video and before I saw it for myself, I thought it was a joke, but this sure is real. The guy who did this has my respect because he had to have put in hours upon hours of practice before he performed the way he did. I like this digital Mona Lisa a lot but I really love the old Mona Lisa.
Audrey Hepburn Pop Art
The painting above, by Nikolai Bird, is of the legendary actress, Audrey Hepburn. Audrey won an Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role as Princess Ann in Roman Holiday. She is also well known for her role as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
In this painting, I really like the use of such an unexpected shade of red. The red really brings out Audrey’s striking features and it goes well with her pale skin.
